Decision guide
Which course really fits your schedule?
These answers help compare calendar, travel, language and terms, not only the lowest price.
How do I find a course that really fits my schedule?+
Filter location, language and time window first. Then open the complete schedule; the start day alone is not enough.
Does an evening course always start after work?+
No. Check the start and end of every session; the label evening course does not replace the timetable.
What should I check for a weekend course?+
Confirm that every part is on the weekend, calculate the journeys and allow a margin before each start.
Why does the finder show several sessions?+
One course run can contain several parts. The booking always covers the complete schedule shown.
Do I need a learner permit until the end of 2026?+
Yes. Under the sequence valid through 31 December 2026, the course is attended with a valid learner permit.
What changes in the training sequence in 2027?+
From 1 January 2027, the course becomes a prerequisite for registering for the theory test.
How can I compare prices fairly?+
Compare the total price, included material, number of journeys, payment terms and rescheduling rules.
What does the available-place figure mean?+
The figure uses the published capacity minus currently registered enrolments. The final booking step is authoritative.
Which course language should I choose?+
Choose a language in which you can confidently understand discussions, examples and technical terms.
Do I book with the finder?+
No. The finder opens the provider’s booking page, where registration and payment are completed.
Can I book only one part?+
No. The displayed sessions belong to one complete course run.
How long does a completed course remain valid?+
Cantonal information states unlimited validity for courses completed from 1 January 2021.
